Sites: Branding Updates using SalesView
Users can now update a configurator’s branding information using SalesView. Anyone with Admin permissions has access to the Sites tab and edit the details.
The Sites Tab
There are four sections within the Sites Tab.
Basic Information
Email and Contact
Logos
Colors and Scene
Basic Information
In the Basic Information section, you can update information that is displayed on the header of the configurator and/or information that displays in the invoice.
Name, address, city, state, zip and fax: All of these items are used on the invoice design.
Phone: The phone number listed in this section will show up in both the invoice and on the contact bar within the configurator
Home Link URL: This sets the hyperlink on the logo that’s on your configurator.
Email and Contact
In this section, you can update the email that is displayed in the contact bar and also you can define who gets a copy of all the saves and set the reply to default email.
Contact email: This email will be listed in the contact bar on the configurator next to the phone number.
Quote reply-to address same as contact email: If this is checked, we will use the contact email as the reply to: email. If it is not checked, you can specify a default email address to be the reply to: email. You can add multiple emails, by separating them with a comma.
Quote send-copy-to address same as contact email: If this is checked, we will use the contact email as the email that should receive a copy of all the saves and quotes submitted. If it is not checked, you can specify an email address that should receive a copy of all the saves and quotes. You can add multiple emails, by separating them with a comma.
Logos
In the Logos section, you can upload new logos and replace your current logo. In addition, if you have a Pro Subscription, you can update your watermarks.
When you upload a watermark image, the system will automatically covert that image to black and white and will create two watermark options that you can use.
You can use the Watermark style dropdown to place your watermark in a specific location.
Colors and Scenes
In the colors and scenes section, you can edit certain branding colors displayed in the configurator.
To update a color, simply select the color key field and a Color Picker will pop up to allow you to select a new color.
Preview - Publish - Revert
When you first open the Sites tab, it will display the data that is currently live on your configurator. You’ll notice the Revert, Preview, and Publish buttons are disabled.
As soon as an item has been edited in the SItes tab, the Revert and Preview buttons will be enabled.
Before you can Publish your changes to the configurator, you have to Preview your edits first. Once you Preview your edits, the Publish button will be enabled.
If you decide you do not want to Publish your edits and you actually want to keep the information as it was before, you can simply select Revert and it will revert back to the last published set of data.
Once you Publish any edits using the Sites Tab, please make sure to go to your configurator and confirm that yout edits were udpated successfully.
