Using the Pricing Tab

IdeaRoom supports changing your pricing two ways: via base prices and via adjustments. Base prices change the cost of the base structure without any options or business logic. Adjustments apply a temporary calculation or amount to your existing prices.

NOTE: Pricing Tab is only available to Clients that subscribe to a Supplier service. Dealers do not have the ability to adjust prices, as all product & pricing data is inherited from their Supplier(s).

You will typically update Base prices at the beginning of your selling season. You will typically use adjustments for short-term events throughout the year (for example, for a sale or to quickly react to changing material costs).

Coordinate annual pricing updates with IdeaRoom Support (via SalesView) to make option pricing changes and site adjustments (like adding sizes or new styles).

Opening the Pricing tab

  1. Log in to your SalesView site.

  2. Click Pricing in the left panel.

  3. (Optional) Select the site, if you have multiple IdeaRoom sites linked to this SalesView group

  4. Select the type of pricing change you want to make: Base or Adjustment

Make changes to some non-pricing site options in the Sites tab, directly below the Pricing tab.
