IdeaRoom Support Transitions to Intercom

We are thrilled to announce a game-changing upgrade to our Customer Support system, a move designed with you in mind. This week we'll be transitioning from Zendesk to Intercom, a platform that offers increased efficiency and intuitive user experience. This change reflects our commitment to provide you with exceptional support services and enhance your interactions with our support team.

All requests that previously went to support@idearoom.com will be rerouted to Intercom, inaugurating a fresh chapter of elevated client support. We've dedicated significant resources to guarantee a smooth transition for you and introduce the new web widget hosted on SalesView. Here are some key changes we believe will make a world of difference:

  • Requests via SalesView: The days of navigating through a separate portal or sending emails for support requests are over. With our new web widget on SalesView, you'll be able to contact us directly. Better still, if you're signed into SalesView, the system will recognize you, leading to faster, more personalized responses.

  • Advanced Knowledge Base and AI-Powered Assistance: We've supercharged our support service by integrating a sophisticated knowledge base into our messenger to accelerate your search for answers. Enter your question, and you'll see a customized selection of pertinent articles from our database.

  • Instant Chat (Beta): Soon you'll enjoy real-time chats with our Support team while logged into SalesView, enhancing both the speed and effectiveness of our support interactions.

  • Seamless Screen Sharing: No more struggling with third-party software or sending screenshots. You can now share your screen directly from the messenger.

  • Google Meet Integration (Beta): If you have a larger request that you'd like to discuss with a specialist, you'll be able to schedule a Google Meet session directly from the web widget.

What do I need to know?

  • If you've been primarily communicating with us via our support email we strongly recommend that you explore the capabilities of our new web widget. This tool is specifically designed to deliver faster answers and responses, ultimately improving your experience.

  • If you're familiar with the Zendesk portal, kindly note that your new interaction point will be the web widget within SalesView. In keeping with these improvements, we're planning a phased reduction in email communication for new requests.
