Measurement lines are now shown between wall items, complementing the existing measurements.
Guides dynamically appear when adjacent wall items are distributed equally or aligned. An additional snapping capability to these guides make creating symmetrical wall layouts easier.
We’ve moved the measurement badge below the building perimeter and above the wall item for greater visibility. And our badges accommodate fractional notations, making them more space efficient.
One important note about our measurement lines: IdeaRoom is not designed to be an engineering-accurate representation of your buildings. We strive for accuracy, but our measurement lines may slightly differ from your physical buildings. Measurement lines are most useful to indicate relative placement of wall items. If you see errors in your measurements, please contact support@idearoom.com. We’ll work with you to improve accuracy, but we may not be able to accommodate every request.
