How to Identify an IP Address
How to Identify an IP Address
Each configured design is associated with an IP Address, which identifies the computer where the design was created. This may be helpful in identifying people who may be using your configurator to create designs for nefarious purposes (such as a competitor pricing your buildings).
To Find the IP Address Associated with a Design
On the Leads tab, click a row (or record) for a design.
On the detail view, the number after the date on the Created field is the IP Address. In the example below the IP address is “96.19.243.111.”
Search for all designs created from this IP address by pasting this value into the Search box.
We cannot block IP addresses from using your configurator, but this is an enhancement targeted for a future release.
