IFC Supplier Roles & Responsibilities
Below is an outline of the roles and responsibilities we recommend you identify on your team to support the IdeaRoom implementation process. Multiple roles can be filled by one person, and we often focus work with one or two primary experts on your team during the bulk of onboarding. Each role plays an important part in the most successful implementations of IdeaRoom:
Champion
Responsible for the business outcomes for which IdeaRoom was purchased.
Typically the owner, sales manager, marketing manager, or dealer manager.
Coordinator
The primary point of contact for communication with IdeaRoom.
Follow-up on client team action items to ensure progress and responsiveness.
Often the same person as the champion.
Pricing Expert **
Compile comprehensive data and documentation for pricing styles, options, and accessories.
Answer questions, clarify ambiguities and fix discrepancies in pricing.
Provide verified quotes for verification and testing purposes.
Review, triage, and clarify pricing error reports.
Dealer Manager
Plan and communicate releases to dealers.
Manage increase in support after release to dealers.
Schedule and coordinate dealer training.
Work with dealers to maximize adoption and usage.
Sales Manager
Design how IdeaRoom fits into the sales process and purchasing experience.
Design and measure sales objectives for long-term success.
Marketing Manager
Design how IdeaRoom fits into the website and other marketing efforts.
Design and measure marketing objectives for long-term success.
Website Administrator
Update DNS records for the production IdeaRoom site.
Modify the website to add links to IdeaRoom.
