A reliable tactic for engaging prospects and accelerating sales is with promotions and discounts. To ensure that visitors of your configurator are aware of any ongoing special you may be running, IdeaRoom has created a feature we call the Information Panel.
By populating the Information Panel in your SalesView site, you can add announcements to your configurator’s menu panel. You can incorporate HTML into this section, allowing you to set colors, fonts, add hyperlinks, and make your promotion or discount bigger and easier to read. Here is an example of what a promotion looks like in the designer:

Log in to SalesView
Navigate to the “Sites” tab.
Scroll down to the section labeled “Information Panel”
Select the check box to add an information panel to your designer.
Add a Title, Subtitle and Message to appear in your information panel.
When a value has been updated, the “PREVIEW” button will change from gray to a highlighted color. Click this button to view what changes will look like in your configurator.
Close the preview, and if you are happy with your changes, click the “PUBLISH” button.
Your changes are now live on your site!
