Updating prices using copy-and-paste

If you have many prices to update, you may choose to copy-and-paste from an Excel file or other table.

If the number of rows and columns of the data set you are copying from does not exactly match the number of rows and columns you are pasting to in SalesView, your paste may not work properly. You also may experience issues if your source data has hidden rows or columns. Ensure that the shape of the data exactly matches before you do a copy-and-paste.

Update Pricing using Copy-and-Paste

  1. On the Pricing tab, select Base.

  2. On the left panel, select the pricing sheet for the building you want to update.

  3. On the right panel, select the pricing table for the region you want to update.

  4. From your source document (like Excel), copy the values to move to IdeaRoom.

  5. Select the related cells in the pricing table and paste.

  6. Preview the changes to ensure they are correct.

  7. Publish the updates, providing a note about the changes. The new prices will now be used on your IdeaRoom Configurator.
