What Are DNS Records?
DNS (Domain Name System) records are like an address book for the internet. They help translate human-friendly web addresses (like http://www.example.com ) into computer-friendly IP addresses (like 192.0.2.1). DNS records are essential for directing traffic on the internet and ensuring that when someone types a domain name into their browser, they are taken to the correct website.
Common Types of DNS Records:
