IdeaRoom provides a standard PDF quote option that you can use for saved designs. This PDF will display your branding and contact information and dealer contact information. Clients who would like a tailored PDF with a specific format can work with our Professional Services team.

The exact costs of a custom PDF depend on your specific requirements and design. Professional Services are charged hourly, based on industry-standard rates for project management, design, engineering, and test. Typically, custom PDFs range from $10,000 to $15,000 USD.

Note that Professional Services engagements are available for clients with a Premium subscription.

To Request a Quote for a Custom PDF

Submit a request through the SalesView Help portal with the following information:

  1. Your existing (non-IdeaRoom) quote format

  2. Any notes about changes you’d like to make to your existing quote format

  3. Any additional notes or requirements for your PDF (for example, it must fit on a single page or it must support digital signatures)

Your request will be sent to our Professional Services team who will review the information provided and prepare a professional service estimate for you. The estimate will be Time & Materials (T&M), which means you will be invoiced for the total time spent. This may be more or less than the original estimate. Upon your signature, we will schedule the work.

What To Expect with Your Custom PDF Project

To begin, you will collaborate with a designer on your specific format and design. You will be given two significant revisions of the spec, if needed. Then, you will approve a final design specification.

The final design specification will be provided to our implementation team. The timeline for your implementation will depend on the complexity of the specification. Your project manager will keep you apprised of the schedule and budget through the project.

Once the PDF is completed, it will be added to your IdeaRoom site. Changes to the PDF after it is deployed will require a change order, managed through our professional services team.

A: IdeaRoom supports webhook integrations, which allows you to take the information that composes a saved IdeaRoom design (such as the customer name, phone number, design link, design details, and images) and use it in a custom application, such as your own internally-maintained quote form. However, this is custom engineering work that you would need to do yourself. Clients who have access to skilled software developers may choose this path, rather than using IdeaRoom Professional Services. Q: How do I add a digital signature to my custom PDF?

A: You can make digital signatures a requirement for your custom PDF project. Our preferred digital signature provider is PandaDoc. You will need your own PandaDoc subscription, and then we can set up your custom PDF digital signature during the implementation.
