Create Quick Links to Custom Designs

For subscribers of our Pro subscription, you can quickly create links to custom designs that can be used for marketing, sharing on social media, and collaborating with customers outside of the Save, Quote, and Checkout options.

To Create a Quick Link

1. Create the building design for your quick link.

2. In the upper right corner of IdeaRoom, use the Sales Login to login to Sales Tools. (Sales Tools will be displayed as a new tab on the right panel, just above the Your Estimate tab.)

3. Expand the Sales Tools tab.

4. Click the COPY LINK TO CLIPBOARD button, as shown.

A link to the design will be copied to your clipboard and be displayed in the address bar of your browser. It will include a group of letters and numbers at the end, which represent the design. For example:

This link can now be used anywhere a typical web link can be used:

• You can highlight the saved design on your website and provide a hyperlink directly to the design for customers who like the custom style. You can rotate these looks frequently to provide fresh content on your website. (See Capturing High Quality Images for Marketing to generate companion images for your website.)

• You can include the link in a social media post specifically highlighting the custom design or a particular feature you want to highlight about your buildings. (For example: “Our space-efficient single-slopes are the perfect storage solution for bikes.”)

• You can include multiple links in an informal email to a customer who may be exploring several design options.

Quick Links do not generate save or quote emails, which means you won’t collect customer information as a sales leads. But they are a quick and convenient way to create and reuse custom designs. Quick Links will also not be shown in SalesView.
